“Should I Eat Breakfast?”
As a health coach I have been asked this question many times. And my response is, unless you are undertaking a fast, eat when you are hungry.

I’ve always practiced intuitive and mindful eating. I don’t need a clock or a regime to tell me what and when to eat.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The latest concept to describe this is ‘Intuitive Fasting.’⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fasting intuitively is designed to help you get in touch with your internal cues, to connect with your body’s physiological needs. Recognising the difference between physical hunger and emotional hunger is key.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Intuitive Fasting is just really a more flexible form of intermittent fasting. You can expect reduced cravings, increased energy levels, reduced inflammation (and you know how passionate I am about reducing inflammation!) and a re-set of your metabolism.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To try intuitive fasting – only eat when you are truly hungry and recognise when you are full (ie when to stop eating.) Healthy eating principles still apply!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
