How To Build The Perfect Smoothie
Step 1 - Lay The Base In Your Food Processor
1 cup water or coconut water, or cold green or herbal tea
Step 2 - Make It Green (optional)
1 cup fresh or frozen green vegetables or herbs eg organic spinach, kale, collards, lettuce, parsley, basil, wild & foraged greens
Step 3 - Bring In The Fruit And Enzymes
One serving or 1 cup fresh or frozen organically grown fruit eg. Berries, mango, , pomegranate, pineapple, acai or banana (I prefer frozen organics wild berries)
Step 4 - Make It Creamy
One serving or 1-2 Tablespoons of a healthy fat eg half an avocado or hemp seed oil or flax seed oil or nut butter or pre-soaked chia seeds, coconut flesh
Step 5 - Bring In The Protein
A serving of protein eg protein powder, hemp seeds, full fat yoghurt
Step 6 - Elevate Your Smoothie & Optimise The Nutrient Content

For variety add less liquid and turn it into a smoothie bowl which you can top with fresh berries and toasted coconut
In winter use fresh not frozen fruit and add ginger and cinnamon to make it more warming on the body
