Frankincense, known since antiquity as the “tears of the gods,” has long been revered for its ability to ease inflammation, support respiratory and digestive health, and nourish the mind and spirit. Enki’s Spagyric Frankincense Tincture is crafted through our slow, in-house alchemical process — preserving the complete essence of this sacred resin.
Evidence-Based Botanical Medicine
Anti-inflammatory support. Frankincense contains boswellic acids, particularly AKBA, which have been shown to inhibit key enzymes responsible for inflammation (including 5-LOX and COX-2). Studies suggest its potential for easing symptoms associated with arthritis, asthma, and IBD.
Neuroprotective and emotionally calming. Incensole acetate — a unique component of frankincense resin — has been studied for its effect on neural inflammation, mood balance, and anxiolytic action. It is thought to activate TRPV3 ion channels linked to sensations of peace and introspection.
